Unlike Snoopy, Spike is a "haunting dog that eats pins, tacks, screws, and razor blades"
Charles M. Schulz's first published drawing that appeared in Ripley's Believe It or Not.
And, NO, this is not Snoopy, who unlike this "haunting dog" [Spike], is more discriminating, preferring turkey dinners and chocolate-chip cookies.

"Chocolate chip cookies follow me wherever I go."—Snoopy, 1986.

Sure, Snoopy's got plenty of passions: playing tennis, being a WW-I era fighter pilot, and of course, loving his best "food-life" (publ. 1961). But towering above them all is his love for chocolate-chip cookies. As he once told Charlie Brown, "You will never convince me that there is more to life than chocolate-chip cookies!"

And you know what? He's darn tootin' right—with extra chocolate chips and a tall glass of milk!!
